Alia Bhatt grabs attention whilst carrying Rs. 1 lakh worth Gucci bag

Alia Bhatt is a busy bee and she's running between work and personal commitments and she's doing it right! Her airport looks are always on point and we can't wait to see what more she's got in store for us. She was admitted to the hospital a few weeks back for exertion but she's back with a bang.

Alia Bhatt was spotted returning from Delhi after spending time with beau Ranbir Kapoor, his sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and family. She was spotted wearing a black ruched top with lettuce hem and she layered it with a black jacket. She paired it with a pair of colourful pants and sneakers. She accessorized her look with silver hoops, black sunglasses and a cross body bag. She didn't forget her signature mask with her initial embroidered on it. She kept her makeup simple and tied her hair up in a centre parted low bun.

But, what grabbed our attention was her expensive bag. She was carrying GG Marmont mini round shoulder bag which made in matelassé chevron leather with a heart on the back, finished with a vintage effect. It is worth $1,390 (Rs. 1,01,631.93)

Currently, Alia Bhatt is working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi which is based on Husain Zaidi's popular book 'Mafia Queens'. She has her multi starrer Brahmastra lined up next, directed by her close pal Ayan Mukerji, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.

The actress will also star in RRR helmed by S.S. Rajamouli, also starring South superstars Jr. NTR and Ram Charan with guest appearance from Ajay Devgn.

1. Jackie Shroff is very shy in public. He hates talking about himself. And if you insist on doing an interview with him, he will speak in mumbled half-sentences, and ask you to fill in the gaps. Once his most constant male co-star asked him why doesn’t market himself better. “Because I am not a bar of soap,” Jackie mumbled.

2. He loves to sing. Rather than converse he will sing to himself. His favourite singers are Mohd Rafi and Kishore Kumar. He loves Rafi Saab’s ‘Main Zindagi Ka Saath’ from his favorite film Hum Dono. Jackie also sang on screen for his own character in Shiva Ka Insaaf.

3. Jackie starred in the first 3D film Shiva Ka Insaaf in which he played a super-hero, Zorro mask and all. Jackie’s son Tiger sought inspiration from his father for The Flying Jatt where he played a super-hero. The difference was Jackie’s super-hero flew, Tiger’s sank.

“I felt like I was on a vacation visiting a gaon," says Apna Time Bhi Aayega’s Megha Ray on shooting on a new set

Zee TV introduced a new fiction show - Apna Time Bhi Aayega, which follows the inspirational narrative of Rani, the young daughter of a head staff member of an affluent family of Jaipur. Refusing to be tied down by her humble roots, Rani (Megha Ray) wants to break free from the shackles of her background to carve her own destiny. Since its launch, this family drama has kept its viewers entertained through unpredictable yet entertaining twists and turns. While Veer (Fahmaan Khan) and Rani got their viewers excited by their sudden engagement and blooming love story, the duo have now reached the district of Ballia (Uttar Pradesh), Rani’s hometown where both of them will be seen raising the entertainment quotient with their fiery on-screen chemistry.

In an attempt to capture the authentic flavour of this little UP district, the makers decided to move out from their regular set to create a look alike of a Ballia village in Madh Island, Mumbai. The actors have been shooting at the new location for beyond two weeks now and are rather thrilled with the change of environment. Megha Ray in particular has been having quite an adventurous time while shooting at the new location. From munching on paan to playing with cows and hens to even dipping her feet in fresh cow dung, name it and Megha has experienced it all.

Sharing her experience, the actress said, “Ever since we moved to this set, every second day I get to experience something new which is frankly very thrilling for me. I am not used to shooting in this atmosphere or shooting amidst such a backdrop and there were a lot of elements that came as a first for me. Amongst most of them, I remember I was asked to climb a big tree located in that village setup and as nerve wrecking as it sounded to me at first, I managed to pull this off after something like 5 -6 takes (laughs). Apart from this time, I remember one day when I accidentally stepped into gobar (cow dung) which really made me cringe, but we all had a really hearty laugh after that. The whole outdoor experience was honestly much needed and initially I felt like I was on a vacation, visiting a gaon. I absolutely loved shooting amidst nature, sunlight and the cool breeze.”

 Adding further about the set, “While I haven’t been to Ballia, I have seen the makers and the creative team take extra effort and special care to ensure that we stay true to the aesthetics and the quirks of this UP district. The detailing is honestly worth appreciating and I am confident that the place we are shooting in currently does replicate the villages of Ballia. Every second moment spent shooting here was new and refreshing.”

Well Megha may have surely had a rather gala time living Rani’s life, but her character is all set to face the biggest shock of her life. Rani and Veer might be getting close to each other but it seems like Veer plans to leave Rani behind upon Rajeshwari’s commands.

EXCLUSIVE: Vidhu Vinod Chopra reveals the reason behind not making Munnabhai 3

Munnabhai M.B.B.S that was released in 2003 became an instant hit and Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi's characters Munna and Circuit became extremely popular among the masses. The sequel to the film, Lage Raho Munnabhai (2006), was also welcomed with equal jest. While the third part to the film was announced in 2006 itself, the makers including director Rajkumar Hirani and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra never went ahead with it. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Vidhu Vinod Chopra reveals why he has not made Munna Bhai 3.

While talking about why he has let go several opportunities where he could have made a lot of money, Chopra said, "Our joy comes from creating cinema. Our joy comes from striving for excellence. Honestly, I have not made the third Munnabhai, which will get me how many crores you can ask industry experts, because I still don't have a script I like, then I must be crazy. Abhijat(Joshi) is mad, so is Raju Hirani. We all are mad. We are seeking happiness and joy which we believe is beyond money."

Earlier, in December while talking to us, actor Arshad Warsi had said that he feels that the film will never be made. "I don't think Munnabhai 3 will be made. It has been too long. If something has to happen, it happens, but if it takes so long then it is slightly(Arshad trails off)...Vinod and Raju want to do it. I am going to rob the script from him(Rajkumar Hirani). He has got three scripts which are 90% completed. They are beautiful scripts . I'll rob it from him and make it myself because he got the script, Sanju is there, people want to see it but no one is making it. So, this is the scene. Maybe one day Raju will come and say the script is ready, let's do it. But it's my personal view, I doubt it.”

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone had met Nick Jonas during the latter's wedding reception with Priyanka Chopra in Mumbai. Deepika had hung out with Priyanka and Nick in 2019 during MET Gala week.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh is currently shooting for Rohit Shetty's Cirkus and has two releases in the pipeline - Jayeshbhai Jordaar and 83.

Double celebration for Hungama 2 as the team wraps shooting and celebrate director Priyadarshan’s birthday

Filmmaker Priyadarshan’s next directorial venture Hungama 2, a family entertainer starring Meezaan Jafri, Pranita Subhash, Paresh Rawal, and Shilpa Shetty Kundra is one of the most awaited multi starrers of 2021.

The team had double Hungama on the sets as they wrapped shooting of the film soon after they celebrated ‘captain of the ship’, Priyadarshan’s birthday. The entire cast and crew got together on Priyadarshan’s birthday and cut a cake, and even re-enacted iconic scenes from his films. To mark the wrap of the film, the cast posed for fun pictures that capture the vibe of Hungama 2.

Ratan Jain, Producer of Hungama 2 said, ”When we started shooting for Hungama 2, we had a vision of a wholesome comedy and a thorough entertainer for all and we are quite happy with how the film has shaped up. Our director, Priyadarshan is one of the stalwarts of the genre and we are now eagerly waiting to take our audience on a ride full of entertainment and laughter with Hungama 2.”

Speaking on the wrap of the film, Priyadarshan said, "Even after so many years, Hungama is still fresh in audiences' minds and it was a challenge to ensure Hungama 2 was even more entertaining than the first installment. But the cast and the entire crew more than lived up to the expectations and I am eagerly waiting to share the film with the audience."

A Venus Records and Tapes LLP project, Hungama 2 is produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, Chetan Jain, and Armaan Ventures. The film is directed by Priyadarshan and also stars comedy dyons Ashutosh Rana, Manoj Joshi, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, and Tiku Talsania.
