The Coronavirus pandemic is pushing the world towards economic slowdown. As many countries have declared lockdown as they tackle the crisis, the daily wage workers and their families have been hit the worst in this scenario. Indians are stepping up and standing behind their people. BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has started a website where one can donate for the daily wage earners.
These unprecedented times require us to come together with immediate measures. The International Association for Human Values, The Art of Living Foundation and the Indian Film and Television Industry have launched this campaign to support our Daily Wage Earners in their time of need. Sanjay Dutt, AR Murugadoss, Bhumi Pednekar, Kiara Advani, Nitesh Tiwari, Rajkumar Hirani, Dia Mirza, Sanjay Gupta, Sidharth Malhotra are some of the stars who have contributed to it and urging people to do so too.
