Actor Deepika Padukone has been spreading awareness about mental health for years now. Since she was diagnosed with clinical depression, the actress openly spoke about it five years ago and started her Live Love Laugh Foundation to help those in need. Deepika recently spoke at length about suicide, depression, and the misconceptions during her conversation with Dr. Shyam Bhat and Dr. Soumitra Pathare on the Live Love Laugh Foundation YouTube channel. “While I embarked on this journey more than 5 years ago, recent tragic events have made us all realise that now more than ever, we need to prioritize mental health & intensify our focus on #SuicidePrevention,” she wrote on Instagram stories.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Chhapaak. The actress will next star in 83 with Ranveer Singh, Shakun Batra's next, and The Intern remake.
