BTS drops Jin's notes for the track 'Stay' ahead of BE (Essential Edition) release

Global popstars BTS are gearing up for the release of 'BE (Essential Edition)' on February 19. Earlier this week, the group's parent company Big Hit Entertainment began to drop individual videos of the musicians since all of them participated in making this chart-topping album 'BE'.  It began with Suga's notes for the track 'Telepathy', followed by RM's notes for the lead single 'Life Goes On', Jungkook's notes for 'Stay', Jimin's notes for 'Dis-ease', and V's notes for 'Blue & Grey' and J-Hope's notes for 'Dis-ease'.

Today, Jin's notes were released for EDM infused track 'Stay'. Sitting on a black couch dressed in a chic outfit, Jin is seen jotting down the lyrics as he gets inspiration from the surroundings as he hums, "Was it a dream / I feel like I saw you / When I open my eye, again / it’s an empty room."

Produced by Arston, the unit track is written by Arston, Jung Kook, RM, & Jin. The album was made at the peak of the coronavirus pandemic last year when BTS had to postpone the 'Map Of The Soul' world tour. As the seven members had no choice but to rest and stay indoors, Jin is wondering whether it was all dream when they could meet the fans but now every time they open their eyes, they are stranded in empty rooms. He seems to be thinking about how monotonous life has become. However, they stayed connected with fans virtually as the song emotes the sentiment that they will always stay with ARMYs.

'BE (Deluxe Edition)' dropped on November 20, 2020. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 2020 with their title track 'Life Goes On' earning No. 1 spot on Hot 100 on Billboard charts. They earned their third No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart (following 'Dynamite' and Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo's 'Savage Love - Laxed – Siren Beat') and first with a Korean song. The title track became the first Korean song to ever top the chart. With record-breaking track 'Dynamite', BTS earned their first group nomination at Grammys 2021 in the Pop Duo/Group category.

'BE (Essential Edition)' drops on February 19, 2021, two days before the one year anniversary of their record-breaking full-length album 'Map Of The Soul: 7'.
