70-year-old Gujarat woman welcomes first baby

A 70-year-old Gujarat woman gave birth to a healthy baby a month ago in Kutch district. The woman Jivuben Valabhai, does not have any ID to prove her age, but according to her she has seen 65-70 summers till now. The couple had been married for 45-years but could not have children. With a long standing desire to have their own child, the couple resorted to IVF. The process was challenging for the doctors owing to the age and other factors related to it, the team still went ahead and at eight months of pregnancy, the woman delivered her first baby.
