Congress links Irani daughter to ‘illegal bar’, mantri hits back

Congress demanded that Smriti Irani be sacked, alleging that a response to an RTI query suggested that her daughter was running an “illegal bar” in Goa, after obtaining a “fake licence”. Congress spokesperson and party's Goa chief made the allegations. Calling it a “very serious issue”, Khera shared a copy of the purported show cause notice given to the bar and alleged that the excise official who gave the notice is being transferred after pressure from authorities.
