Will implement UCC in Himachal Pradesh if voted back: Shah

Home minister Amit Shah on Sunday announced in Himachal Pradesh that the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) will be implemented in the state if BJP is voted back to office. Addressing an election rally in poll-bound Himachal Pradesh, he said, “If you elect the Jai Ram Thakur government, I promise you that the common civil code will be implemented in Himachal Pradesh.
