Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress and Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party Friday signalled they would remain equidistant from Congress and BJP while striving to cobble together an anti-saffron “third front” without the grand old party getting any chance to play “the big boss of the opposition”.
