After 20 hours under rubble, man rescued on birthday

After 20 agonising hours of being trapped under the debris following the Bhiwandi building crash, labourer Sunil Pisal (32) was safely rescued on Sunday, which was also his birthday. When NDRF and Thane Disaster Relief Force personnel extracted Pisal from the rubble around 8am, he was conscious and thanked them with folded hands for giving him a second life. Cabinet approves 157 nursing colleges with almost 100 seats each

India will soon have 157 new nursing colleges with approximately 100 seats each. A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the Cabinet committee on economic affairs, chaired by PM Narendra Modi.
