Bangladesh Hindus now 9% due to forced conversions: Amit Shah

Home Minister Amit Shah highlighted the drastic decline in the Hindu population in Bangladesh from 27% during Partition to 9%, attributing it to forced conversions and displacement. Shah granted citizenship certificates to 188 Hindu refugees from Pakistan, emphasising that the Citizenship (Amendment) Act aims to provide justice.
