On the occasion of Ashtami traditionally young girls are invited into the home to honour them. Comedian Bharti Singh, however, chose to distribute food among the security staff of her building instead.
Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa distributed food among their building security guards during this Chaitra Navratri. Bharti took to her Instagram handle to share a picture of the guards and wrote, "On the occasion of Ashtami, I met our building guards. They haven't been home for the past 20 days, securing our homes and doing their day and night and staying in staff quarters in our building. Harsh and I decided to offer them prasad of the lil Pooja we did at home today."
Bharti had recently held a live Instagram chat with comedian Kapil Sharma where the latter revealed that he will worship his daughter Anayra on Ashtami. Kapil who got married in December 2018, was blessed with a baby girl a year later on December 10, 2019.
