2 Years Of Simmba: Ranveer Singh celebrates his foray into hardcore commercial cinema, pens a note of gratitude for Rohit Shetty

It's been two years since blockbuster Simmba hit the big screen. The film marked Ranveer Singh's foray into hardcore commercial cinema. Sara Ali Khan was the leading lady. Today, Ranveer Singh is celebrating the film and penned a note of gratitude for Rohit Shetty.

Sharing a video featuring some of the blockbuster moments from the film on December 28, Ranveer Singh captioned the video, “AAYA POLICE! Two years of my first foray into hardcore commercial cinema with the Undisputed KING of the Box-office, one & only BOSSMAN @itsrohitshetty. Ek hi toh hai ! Interestingly, after the massive success of Simmba and appearing in Sooryavanshi which is yet to release, Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh are reuniting for the third time with Cirkus. The film features an eclectic star cast which includes Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandes, Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma. Cirkus began in November and will be shot in Mumbai, Ooty, and Goa.

T-Series Films and Reliance Entertainment presents, Cirkus, produced and directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is set to release in the winter of 2021.
