'Use of mosque loudspeaker not fundamental right'

“The law has now been settled that use of a loudspeaker from a mosque is not a fundamental right,” the Allahabad high court observed while rejecting a plea seeking use of a loudspeaker/mike in a mosque. A division bench comprising Justices Vivek Kumar Birla and Vikas Budhwar dismissed a writ petition filed by one Irfan of Badaun district, holding it as “patently misconceived”.
