MLA Kadu gets two years for assault on public servant

A Nashik court Wednesday convicted and sentenced Achalpur MLA Omprakash alias Bachchu Kadu to one-year imprisonment each on two charges of assault on a public servant and intentional insult in 2017. While the sentences are to run concurrently, Kadu's lawyers moved a bail plea, which was granted to enable him to move an appeal in a higher court. Via Times of India https://ift.tt/R3W952w
