AFSPA extended for further 6 months in parts of Nagaland, Arunachal

The Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act has been extended in parts of Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland, giving armed forces personnel sweeping powers in "disturbed areas" to maintain public order.
