In November 2019, Katrina Kaif turned an entrepreneur when she launched her beauty label, Kay Beauty. Ever since it has emerged as a popular brand that has been widely lauded by beauty connoisseurs and make-up lovers. And now, Kay Beauty is all set to launch four eyeshadow palettes. Celebrating #ItsKaytobeYou, these palettes are artfully rendered via beautiful illustrations exclusively for Kay Beauty, depicting four unique moods - Love, Pure, Soul and Free.
What makes the latest product rather special is the coming together of Katrina and Gaurvi Sharma, an emerging collage artist. The superstar-entrepreneur found inspiration in the latter’s artwork and wanted her to come on board to create the palette art with soulful illustrations that reflect artistic magic.
Talking about her collaboration with Kay Beauty, Gaurvi says, “When I heard the thought behind the project, I could relate to it immediately. The intention and effort behind the brand, Kay Beauty, was clearly visible and I felt very much at ease taking the project. I loved how it represents the collective effort and support of all the lovely women and I feel glad to be a part.”
She adds that Katrina’s 2011 release inspired her. “This (journey) took me in a flashback of memories when I was struggling to get back to art after pregnancy and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara inspired me to never give up on my dreams,” Gaurvi says.
