Shashikala being one of the finest actresses of her time, had worked in more than 100 films over the period of her career of six decades. The actress passed away at the age of 88 and the industry was left grieving. One of them was Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who was fortunate enough to work with her in Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. The actress played the role of Shashikala’s granddaughter in the film and posted a picture of her to address her death.
Taking to her Twitter, Priyanka Chopra Jonas wrote, “An actor par excellence, one of the greats of the golden era... she leaves behind an indelible mark on cinema. On the work front, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has recently released her memoir Unfinished and will be seen in Matrix 4.
