The six senior IPS officers directed to be transferred by EC are currently posted in Ahmedabad city or Surat. The ones from Ahmedabad police commissionerate are additional commissioner of police (ACP) (crime) Premvir Sinh; ACP (traffic) A G Chauhan; deputy commissioner of police (DCP) (control room) Harshad Patel; DCP, Zone IV Mukesh Patel; and DCP (traffic) Bhakti Thakar.
