SC to probe validity of Sec 375 that legalises marital rape

The Supreme Court on Tuesday said it would take up for hearing in January second week the petitions challenging the constitutional validity of an exception provided under Section 375 of IPC legalising marital rape along with appeals against recent judgments from the Karnataka HC and Delhi HC on the issue.
